Is your Android app ready for 16 KB page sizes?

Drop in an APK or App Bundle. In seconds you'll see which native libraries pass Google Play's 16 KB requirement, which don't, and how to fix them.

… days until Google Play blocks updates that don't support 16 KB pages (February 1, 2027).

  • Runs in your browser. Your app file is never uploaded.
  • No account needed.
  • Checks follow Google's published requirements.

What we check

The same rules Google describes in Support 16 KB page sizes, applied to the 64-bit ABIs (arm64-v8a and x86_64). Apps with no native code already support 16 KB.

ELF alignment
Every LOAD segment of each 64-bit native library must be aligned to at least 16 KB.
RELRO boundary
If a library has a RELRO segment, it must end on a 16 KB boundary.
APK zip alignment
Uncompressed libraries must start on a 16 KB boundary inside the APK.
Bundle config
App Bundles must set 16 KB page alignment for native libraries (bundletool defaults to 4 KB).

Built for every screen

Adaptwise helps teams upgrade and modernize native Android apps: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, foldables and tablets. The 16 KB scan is the first step. Portfolio scans and done-for-you fixes are coming for teams with many apps.
